Artist's Description

NOTE: The "Fine Art America" watermark will not appear on purchased products.

Amtrak's southbound Coast Starlight at Klamath Falls, Oregon. Klamath Falls is where this train changes operating crews (engineers and conductors), and here we see a changing of the guard, so to speak.

KFS, as the station is designated, is also a service stop for the train, providing passengers with time to walk around and get photos. I like this station in particular because the station is on a curve, enabling us to capture the entire train in our photos. I made this one on November 3rd, 2006 - my 47th birthday.
