I shot this scene at LAX in May 1981. In the foreground a line of passengers is boarding a French Nord 262 in the colors of the short-lived Golden Gate Airlines which was based in Monterey. The airline lasted less than 2 years. In just 3 months after the date of this photo, Golden Gate Airlines was no more. Behind it is a partially hidden Swift Aire Fokker F-27. In the background massive tails of two Continental DC-10s tower over the smaller aircraft.
