The historic Hotel Del Coronado near San Diego, California. It was built in the late 1880s and was designed by the Reid Brothers architectural firm of San Francisco who also designed the Golden State Theatre in my hometown of Monterey. I had the privilege of a stay there in September 1995 when I made this photo.
