When I was a teenager in the 1970s I attended a rustic boarding school in the mountains of Lake County in northern California. This wooden tank was our water supply. In the four years I attended school there I don't think I walked up to the tank more than once or twice. One day toward the end of my time there I climbed up the hill to the water tank and found this leak. I had my new Olympus OM-1 SLR, which my mother had given to me as an early graduation present. I put it to good use here. The photo is dated May 1978.
