Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Detail shot of propellers on a US Navy P3 Orion aircraft. In October of 1980 the airplane was parked in Salem for a few days. For what purpose I do not know, but the day I happened to take my camera to photograph it a man from the local Navy recruiting office called out to me and said "Would you like to get some good angles?" I said yes, and he let me in the gate to the tarmac. He proceeded to give me a tour of the aircraft exterior, pointing out it's various features and explaining its function as a submarine hunter. I learned a lot. I met him at his office a couple of weeks later to show him the slides and I had some printed up for him. He in turn gave me a large Navy wall calendar with some cool photographs. Interestingly he never tried to recruit me, even though I was just the right age.

In the fall of 1959, Mr. Toy entered this world at a place called Carmel on California's Monterey Peninsula. Nine years later his family pulled up stakes for the rain-soaked city of Salem, Oregon where he never quite fit in. When he was 12, he and his mother viewed an exhibit of photographs by a Salem newspaper photographer, which inspired him to take his first photography class. During his teenage years he gradually developed his eye for composition and his skills with light and exposure. Though he did not pursue photography as a career, he has continued to document his observations of the world on small frames of film.
