Two Amtrak trains are stopped on opposite sides of the passenger platform in Sacramento. The train on the left is a regional Capitol Corridor train operated under the banner of Amtrak California. On the right is the long-distance train, the Coast Starlight, which I happened to be riding overnight to Salem, Oregon. In the middle is a ramp leading to an underground tunnel which leads to the passenger depot. I made this image in late October 2006.
