There are many places around the Monterey Peninsula where you can find waves splashing on rocks, but relatively few where you can look straight down on them. This was shot from the rear deck of the Monterey Plaza Hotel in June 2004 during my employment there. This particular deck is a little hard to find, but is open to the public for ocean viewing.
